Alec Jorquera is another distinguished graduate from the 2022 class with a passion for STEM. He is currently at UTS, completing a Bachelor of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering. For Alec’s HSC, he achieved an outstanding 98 in Standard Mathematics as well as a 91 in Design and Technology with his underwater ROV major work. 

Alec prides himself on teaching, starting at the age of 14, when he began aiding in the facilitation of first aid training with St John Ambulance cadets. He started private tutoring in the latter portion of 2022. Additionally, in his HSC year, he ran group study sessions and assisted students in classes for standard mathematics, aiding Parramatta Marist in achieving 7th in the state for Mathematics Standard. 

Excelling in Robotics, Alec found his passion while competing in the Subs in Schools Competition, where he led three other students to design, manufacture, and test an underwater ROV. Then they went on to compete at the Australian National final, where they placed first overall in innovation, first in team presentation, and achieved the record time to complete an underwater trial. A record that still stands today. He then continued to work with ROVs for his Design and Technology major work.

Aiden is a distinguished graduate of the class of 2022, attaining an impressive ATAR of 96.30. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering at UNSW, in which he hopes to acquire a position as a Propulsion Systems Engineer upon graduating. During his HSC journey, Aiden showcased exceptional aptitude, achieving a remarkable score of 96 in the HSC Extension 1 Math examination.

With a solid foundation in tutoring, Aiden has been providing valuable educational support since early 2022. He firmly believes that the path to achieving exceptional results lies in surpassing the confines of the curriculum. By encouraging students to push themselves beyond the prescribed scope, Aiden cultivates an environment that fosters personal growth and academic triumph.
